Sunday I preached from Revelation 6:9-11 on the “Souls under the Altar” … they asked “how long Lord?”

And God didn’t really give the answer they were looking for but he said … “rest a little while longer.”

So … I included this poem to end my message

REST

I with Him

He with me,

Then in all

Satisfied I’ll Be;

Resting there

In His great grace,

I will live and long

To see His Face.

And I, when faced

With struggles below,

To the feet of my Savior

I will Go;

And when I ask “how long?”

And he says, “a little while”,

Confident of love

Through trials, I’ll smile.
